Welcome to the Veteran Art Collective. The Veteran Art Collective is the idea of two veteran artists who began creating art in art therapy. We were curious how many veteran artists there are out there in the Chicagoland area and the country at Large. In 2017 we started spreading the word about our desires to pull together veteran artists of all mediums to share art and one day put on an art show to showcase our creative efforts. This Facebook group is our first efforts in our efforts to make a veteran art show a reality.
We see this group as a place to share art and connect with other veteran artists.
Creating art is challenging. And sometimes it can be even more of a challenge to share art.
In order to keep this group a comfortable environment for creativity. Please be mindful of the following guideline:
- Be mindful of how you comment on others creations. We all need encouragement. Don't be that veteran.
